Colors, Numbers, Letters

top 3 early-learning concepts in one beautiful board book Leo Lionni’s jaunty little mice present the three most basic early-learning concepts in one irresistible board book. In a rainbow of colors, bright red mice paint a gray one red, yellow mice greet a yellow chick, a lucky green mouse finds a four-leaf clover, and so on. Going on to the second most basic concept, the mice make counting fun as they count each other, and when the mouse family is fully assembled, mouse number ten takes a photo of them all. It’s never too early to start learning the alphabet, and the Lionni mice are up to their best tricks as they dance, prance, cavort, juggle, and hide-and-seek with the 26 letters. Lionni’s signature mice, created from torn-paper and cut-paper collages, were first seen in two of his four Caldecott Honor Books, Frederick and Alexander and the Wind-Up Mouse. The sturdy board book has rounded corners and nontoxic ink. An inexpensive yet beautiful and thoughtful gift for baby showers, this playful book is brimful of good humor, great graphics, and lots of things for parents to talk about with the very youngest baby and toddler.作者簡介 Leo Lionni, an internationally known designer, illustrator, and graphic artist, was born in Holland and studied in Italy until he came to the United States in 1939.
